Names, seals and formats
Chinese names can be romanized in different ways, and family name order varies between documents. We follow your passport spelling and keep it the same throughout. Red seals, stamps and handwritten notes are described and translated where they appear, and dates are converted carefully from Chinese formats, including the Minguo calendar used on some Taiwan documents. Translations into Chinese are prepared in Simplified or Traditional characters to match the destination.
Frequently asked questions
Do you translate Chinese notarial certificates for USCIS?
Yes. Certified English translations accepted by USCIS.
Will a translation done here be accepted in China?
