How we work with regulatory and legal teams

Send us the list of documents a foreign authority wants and your submission date. We map the route for each document, whether federal, state or company-signed, notarize company documents at your office, and handle the apostille or embassy legalization. You get one point of contact, status updates as each step finishes, and an itemized invoice per matter. We support companies across Boston, Cambridge, Kendall Square and the Route 128 corridor.

Mistakes that delay registration files

  • Treating every document the same. Federal, state and company documents each follow a different authentication route.
  • A Delaware certificate at a Massachusetts office. Good standing certificates are apostilled by the state that issued them.
  • Signatory mix-ups. Letters of authorization should be signed by the person named as signatory.
  • Expiring documents. Regulators often want recently issued certificates.
  • Missing the embassy step. Non-Hague countries need legalization after authentication.

For medical device companies

Device manufacturers registering products abroad often need export certificates, declarations of conformity, letters authorizing a local representative and corporate documents, each authenticated for the destination country. Some countries also require embassy legalization and translation. We notarize company declarations at your office, route federal certificates through the U.S. Department of State and handle the rest, so your registration file arrives complete.

Questions to ask your local agent or regulator

  • Which documents need an apostille, and which need embassy legalization?
  • How recently must each certificate be issued?
  • Who must sign company declarations, and in what capacity?
  • Do documents need to be translated, and by whom?
  • Where should the originals be sent, and by when?

Getting these answers first prevents a second round.
