How a corporate order runs
Mistakes that delay corporate filings
- A certificate from the wrong state. Good standing comes from the state where the company was formed, not where it operates.
- Uncertified copies of articles or bylaws. Foreign offices usually need certified copies or a notarized officer's certificate.
- Signers in the wrong capacity. The person signing must match the title and authority in the resolution.
- Certificates that expire in transit. Many recipients want a recently issued certificate. We time the order around your filing date.
- Apostilles for non-Hague countries. The UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and others need embassy legalization. See Embassy Legalization.
